Kolkatta is the capital of West Bengal situated on the bank of Hugli River.The city has many beautiful monuments,temples and british era buildings.The ride on small boats in evening on Hugli river with light Rabindra Music falling on ears makes to feel the world has come to stand still.The best time to visit is during winters or from September to February.Visit during Dushera or Navratra Festival is perfect but planning should be done months before as it is the peak time of tourism.
